The vision is clear: to be available to lead worship and provide ministry in the name of Jesus for kids, students, and adults in special ministry settings, such as camps, conferences, churches, and other ministry venues.
We achieve this by assembling a team to travel, lead, and engage in ministry – living out our mission to GO OUT and sing, serve, and share the love of Christ, and to RAISE the next generation of Christian disciples and ministry leaders.
For those interested, here’s the Harvest “business model” in short:
- We believe God has called and continues to call us to serve in this unique niche.
- We have seen God provide year after year through his faithful people!
- We invite camps, churches, and events to cover the team’s expenses (such as travel) and provide an honorarium that fits their budget.
- Because leading worship for summer camps and next generation events has never been on a high-paying jobs list anywhere, we invite people to join us in the mission to remain available to serve in these settings year after year.
- The combination of three things helps the ministry continue: 1) the honorarium/fees from events, 2) donations and support from individuals, churches, and grants, and 3) the sale of resources, music, shirts, and more.
