Most Christians began following Christ when they were between the ages of 12 and 18.
Many testimonies from Christians include a place (different from their home church) where they first sensed God calling them. Often this is in a special event setting such as a camp, conference or special service.
“Church Kids” are a prime audience with whom to share the Gospel!
Large gatherings for worship and preaching will never get old. They may seem to be squeezed from the cultural calendar and may not make the priority cut in many homes, but revival comes when faithful folks pray for the world around them.
We need to pray for the next generation and live out a life of following Jesus.
We also need to invite students to large events where they can clearly hear the invitation and all to follow Christ.
I want to mention three events here. And my goal is two-fold – to get more students and kids to attend and to invite you to help us!
All of these events are set up in such a way that you could bring a large group from your church with a few adult sponsors or you could bring a small group with a couple of adult leaders. But even if there isn’t a full student ministry in your church and you know of a student, start planning and making arrangements to invite them, along with a couple of their friends, to attend.
IGNITION MIDDLE SCHOOL CONFERENCE
The Ignition Conference is a one-day event for middle school students.
Fire-Up Conference
Fire-Up is a weekend event for high school students (and a track for college-age students)
THE LIGHT KIDS CONFERENCE
The Light Kids Conference is an event for children in first – fifth grades.
Would you join us?
We’re praying for changed lives, eternal fruit and revival in our region, state and nation.
