Set Up Your Own Facebook Fundraiser!

One of the cool things that can make a significant difference in our ministry fundraising efforts is for a slew of our friends to set up their own nonprofit fundraiser on Facebook to end on November 20. It doesn’t cost anything, Facebook doesn’t take a percentage, and these will be added to the total for the 2024 Harv-A-Thon. Often, you will see these birthday fundraisers (and if your birthday happens during this time, feel free!). But you can also set up Facebook Fundraisers anytime. Here are the steps:

Steps to create a nonprofit fundraiser:

1. On your computer, login to Facebook.
2. On the left, click  Fundraisers.
   • Tip: If you don’t see Fundraisers on the left, click See more.
3. On the left, click Raise Money.
4. Click Nonprofit.
5. You can either:
   • Scroll to find the nonprofit you want to raise money for
   • Type into the search bar to find the nonprofit you want to raise funds for
6. Select the nonprofit.
7. On the left, enter:
   • The goal amount of money you want to raise
   • The currency you want the funds to be in
8. Click Create.
