We recently had the privilege of serving at the GMC Great Lakes Conference, held at the beautiful Green Lake Conference Center in Wisconsin.
Our team had a wonderful week helping with student ministry, leading worship for the full conference assembly, and leading a breakout session. It was a joy to worship, learn, and serve alongside leaders, pastors, students, and church members from across four states.
Representing Harvest Ministry Teams were Ruby Price, Rex Repp, Madyson Schubert, Macy Price, Jayden McMinn, Caleb Simmons, and Tim and Suzanne Price. We are incredibly thankful for each person on the team and the unique gifts, energy, and servant-hearted leadership they brought throughout the week.
Green Lake Conference Center has been a meaningful place for us over the years. We’ve had the opportunity to participate in a variety of events there, and each visit reminds us of God’s faithfulness. We spent several years leading the summer Family Conference. We also led worship for the Winter Blast Student Event each week between Christmas and the New Year, beginning in the late 1990’s.
We praise the Lord for safe travels, meaningful conversations, new friendships, and opportunities to point people to Jesus. We are grateful to the Great Lakes Leaders for inviting us to serve and for their partnership in ministry.
The students were connected and spent time praying. We enjoyed lots of fun things – like Judson Tower, the Rock Show, Games and walks by the lake. Thankful to some folks who helped provide meals for the team – Alfonzo’s in Troy, The Ellis Family, The Price Family and of course the GLC Kraft Dining Hall.
Also, a quick thanks to other leaders who joined in leading worship for the full conference – Matt, Kenneth, Michelle, Mitch, and Jeff. And thanks to the tech team – Chad, Matthew, Zach and Darrin.
To God be the glory!
