STATEMENT OF FAITH
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;*
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic (universal) church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
Lodging:
Groups are responsible for their own lodging during Renovate Weekend Events.
Tips for Groups:
- If you’re from the local area, some groups will arrange to have the guys in their group spend the night one of their church member’s homes and the girls in another. This is a great way to give a retreat weekend feel. Another option to take your group back to the church to spend the night.
- Groups who attend from outside the local area typically reserve motel rooms, others will connect with a local church to spend the night.
- Use the trip home on Saturday evening to have dinner and debrief the weekend.
