There’s no way to know how this crisis will come to an end. Our desire for people to be safe and healthy is second only to our mission of ministry in the name of Jesus. Outside of the Spring cancellations and postponements, we’re not making any major summer decisions until mid-May and will look to those camps, events, host churches and conferences to help us determine how to proceed. We know there is much at stake and we are praying for God’s will to be done.
Harvest team members are currently working on ideas and plans for some creative summer ministry experiences. Should we still be in active social distancing as a nation during the summer camp and conference season, these experiences would fall in line with regulations.
As you may know, Harvest Ministry is a non-profit 501 c 3 ministry and we are so thankful for the many supporters (and grants) who help undergird nearly half of the ministry budget. Since the other half comes directly from ministry event honorariums, we’re inviting you to pray with us as we forge through this unprecedented time!
This may be the most unusual way to celebrate the 25th summer, but as always, we’re trusting the Lord. It’s His work.
Sincerely,
Harvest Board of Directors
