THE WELL – A SEMINAR FOR YOUTH WORKERS

The Well is a three-hour gathering to equip and connect youth workers.

9:00 – Session One with Marko — Session I With Marko — Creating a Ministry of Belonging (What are some of the cultural shifts that have given rise to the search for belonging as the primary lens through which teenagers view the world? How can we respond as the church and leaders?)

10:15 – Break

10:30 – Connect / Network

10:50 – Session Two with Marko –Understanding Teenage Brains (The other side of the coin — if the first session is “nurture”, this is “nature”.)

12:00 – Conclude The Well with lunch

(lunch is provided and included in the registration and following lunch, you’re free to head out when you need to)

The Well will be hosted in three locations that week:

Belleville, IL – Monday evening, March 2

Springfield, IL – Tuesday morning, March 3

Bloomington, IL – Tuesday evening, March 3

About The Well

The Well is a training event with a vision to equip those who serve in student ministry – in a short block of time, no strings attached. Over the years, thousands of youth workers have attended this conference which begin in 2005 with Tim Price and Hal Hamilton. The Well has been hosted in churches from several denominations and even more denominations have been represented in attendance.  With a vision to come to you and provide “close to home” training for staff and volunteers, The Well, has met this need and has provided a connection and network. There are typically 20-40 people in attendance at each site, which gives it a round table feel, but with a high impact presentation.

The registration fee covers the program, speaker and the whole group enjoys a meal together (included) – which provides time to visit and connect.

After the three hour Well event, we hope you’re able to head home refreshed, encouraged and with some new ideas for reaching and discipling the next generation.

It’s awesome if you can bring a group of volunteers with you and there are group rates available!
