AUGUST 1, 2026 | MOUNT OLIVE “TUNE IN” VBS, DE SOTO, MO
On Saturday, August 1, Tim, Sophia, Caleb, and Annie headed to Mt. Olive Methodist Church in DeSoto, MO to lead a one-day Kids Tune In Event. It was a great day of leading worship, games, lessons, and ShoutCo! Puppets. It was a great lunch, great church, and cool kids!
JULY 26-AUG 1, 2026 | BIG KIDS KAMP, XENIA, IL
BKK (Big Kids Kamp, Cumberland Presbyterian Church) in Xenia, IL was a cool week of ministry with High School Students and Young Adults. Thanks to the leaders who invited Harvest to serve and thanks to the team who led. In the photo: Tim, Rex, Madyson, Caleb, Sophia, and Jon.
JULY 26-AUG 2, 2026 | SIMPSON PARK CAMP, ROMEO, MI
We had such an awesome week at Simpson Park Youth Camp! We led worship in the morning for the youth camp and had the opportunity to attend the evening services (along with the youth) with the whole camp meeting! We also hung around the youth pavilion and watched the Gordie Games, Simpson Park’s equivalent of Color Wars.
A couple of highlights from the week:
- On the last night of camp, we had a late-night worship concert for the youth! We sang the songs we did throughout the week and did a couple of dances. We took time as a group to reflect on the week and give God praise for the ways He moved!
- We had the opportunity to lead worship for the main sessions on both Saturday evening and Sunday morning!
- Every evening after worship, there was a time of fellowship for the whole camp with homemade ice cream from Cook’s Farm Dairy in Michigan! We would hang around with people from the camp before heading to the youth afterglow activity!
- Suzanne and Ruby played pickleball for the first time, along with Caleb and Macy!

JULY 24-26, 2026 | BEULAH FAMILY CAMP, ELDORADO
We spent a weekend at Beulah Family Camp! It was a great weekend of worship, hanging out with the students, and joining the whole camp for evening worship! Madyson and Caleb shared their testimonies, and Rex shared a Bible study lesson. Thank you to Harper, Caleb U., and Clint for jumping in to help with music!
JULY 17-19, 2026 | EPWORTH FLEDGLING, GREENVILLE
It was a great weekend at Epworth Fledgling Camp! The theme was God’s Creation, and it was awesome to be at such a beautiful campground! We led worship and games, served as cabin sponsors, and jumped into the camp’s activities! It was fun hanging out with the campers and getting to know them!
JULY 13-17, 2026 | EPWORTH JR/SR CAMP, GREENVILLE
We had a great week at Epworth Jr./Sr. Camp! We led worship two times a day, led two different game times, and helped with assemblies each day (a time before lunch for fun songs, games, Mail Call, afternoon announcements, and Cabin Inspections).
Each morning, we split up to help with various aspects of camp. Tim, Rex, and Dave led class rotations for the middle school students at camp. They led 4-5 classes throughout the week. During this time, the rest of the team helped conduct cabin inspections and finish the Epworth Episode series, which was a short, funny video series shown during assembly.
We also served as cabin sponsors for the week! Some of us had middle school campers; others had high school… It was an adventure and a lot of fun!
Although we served in many aspects, one of the best times of serving was simply getting to know the students. Whether it was around the table during meals, down at the zipline, hanging at the snack shack, or at 3 am during HS devotions, our goal was to get to know the students and leaders at camp.
One highlight of the week was the Reverse Talent Show, where each cabin was assigned a talent and had 24 hours to prepare! Tim’s cabin was given “percussion without instruments.” They turned their talent into a full-on stomp drumline with chairs, pots and pans, and trash cans! Ruby and Madyson’s talent was “eating using someone else’s hands.” The cabin decided to hold a watermelon-eating contest, and it was a hit! Dave, Carter, and Jack’s cabin received “mime’s” for their talent. At first, they weren’t sure what to do, but then they came up with this awesome skit where Jack interviewed a group of mimes! It was hysterical and was definitely a favorite!
We are grateful for the time we got to spend at Epworth Camp, the ways God moved, and all the fun!

Before the start of Epworth Camp, we decided to host a last-minute Camp Worship night on the grounds of Durley Camp! It was a beautiful night and a great evening of worship! Thank you to the Epworth Core Staff for joining us and everyone who came!

What a great day of Tuning In to God’s Word with the children and students at Rockbridge Methodist! It was a full day packed with worship, Bible Buzz, rec, awesome crafts, and great food! It was great to see a couple of older students leading groups throughout the day! Thank you to Rockbridge Methodist Church, Dennis and Iris Price, and Greg and Debbie Price for the wonderful hospitality throughout the weekend!
JULY 8, 2026 | CHADDOCK, QUINCY, IL
We had a great morning at Chaddock in Quincy! We had the opportunity to lead music and games for the students, then we opened it up for a time of questions! Praise the Lord for the ways He is working in the lives of the students at Chaddock! Afterward, we got to stay and eat lunch with them, which was awesome!

While we were up in the Quincy area, we did two ShoutCo! shows at assisted living facilities! It was an awesome time of singing songs and meeting with the residents!
JULY 6-9, 2026 | CAMP POINT UMC VBS, CAMP POINT, IL
Camp Point UMC VBS was awesome! Throughout the week, we learned to “Tune In” to God’s Word by learning four parables. We also led rec and Bible Buzz! One evening, the event was held at the community park! We’re thankful for the connections with children, students, and leaders there!

We enjoyed being at Elizabeth West’s church this morning! It was a great time of worship and sharing the message! Thank you for having us, and it was great to have Elizabeth join us!
JUNE 26-27 2026 | BEULAH: THE BEGINNING ELDORADO, IL
We had a blast at Beulah: The Beginning Camp! Camp began on a rainy day, so we set up game stations in the tabernacle, including sack races, egg races, ring toss, and more!
We led worship and also led the music and a skit for the evening devotion.
A fun surprise was that because of changed plans due to the rain, the ShoutCo! Puppets did a show for the evening activity! We roped in some of the old Saint Matthew Church puppet crew to help and it was awesome!
JUNE 22-25, 2026 | BEULAH BIBLE CAMP, ELDORADO, IL
What an amazing week at Beulah Bible Camp in Eldorado, IL. Thanks to Debbie and the leaders. And thanks to the team who served (left to right) — Tim, Jason, Rex, Macy, Madyson, Ruby. Special guest drummer, Jason, joined us for the week, and Jackson (from Marion) filled in for the last service. It was a fantastic week of ministry with students!
In addition to leading worship, we led icebreaker games at the beginning of camp and hosted an elective each afternoon. The elective was called “Hangout with Harvest.” We got to know the campers in the group, played a game, and wrote a song that we sang during worship.

This past week, we did ShoutCo! shows at five assisted living communities in our area! It was a great time of connecting with the residents and having a lot of fun with the puppets! Our first event of the summer was leading the youth track for the Great Lakes Conference in Green Lake, Wisconsin! Along with leading the youth time, we had the opportunity to lead worship for the main sessions, and Tim led a breakout session! It was great to be back at Green Lake Conference Center for an event! The Summer 2026 team was there with Caleb Simmons and Jayden McMinn; thanks for joining us!

Great couple of days of training with the summer core team before we head out for the next several weeks! The core team for the summer is Tim Price, Ruby Price, Madyson Schubert, and Rex Repp, with short-term team members joining us throughout the summer.
During these first couple of days, we met together, practiced music, and Rex organized and labeled the sound equipment!

Thank you, Jesus, for the 30th summer of Harvest Ministry! We praise the Lord for the ways He moved through us a changed lives this summer.
During the Summer Closing Celebration in Marion, we worshipped, shared funny stories and testimonies from our experiences, the ShoutCo! Quartet sang “Country Church”, and we showed a few videos.
All summer, we prayed for a move of God, and it was evident that He was moving and is moving!

JULY 27-AUGUST 2, 2025 | Big Kids Kamp, Xenia, IL
What an awesome week at BKK! We are thankful for the opportunity to be back for the second year! This picture is from the last night of camp where everyone dresses up for a fancy dinner.
During the week, Ruby, Harper, Lynnsie, and Caleb took part in classes and seminars with the campers who are ages 14-22. They also broke out into committees: Lynnsie was in the devotion committee and helped come up with devotions for the cabins each night, and Caleb, Ruby, and Harper helped with the Morning Praise Committee, where they led the camp in fun, energetic songs each morning.
We also had some free time in the afternoons and during that time, we recorded songs, music videos, and motion videos!
Ruby got stung (for the first time) by a wasp. And we got it on video!
It was a lot of fun to lead worship and be a part of the camp!
JULY 25-27, 2025 | Beulah Family Camp, Eldorado, IL
Spending the first weekend at Beulah Family Camp was great! We participated in the worship services of the camp, plus led a separate youth track. We had worship, Bible studies (led by Tim and Ruby), and devotions (led by Lynnsie and Caleb). On Saturday, we went hiking with the youth at Garden of the Gods. We got rained out, but it was still a great time!
JULY 24-25, 2025 | Midwest Mission – TMC Students, Chattam, IL
Great two days at Midwest Mission and with the TMC Middle School students!
We left Troy at 7 AM on Thursday morning to head to Chattam and begin working at Midwest Mission. During the day, we did a variety of different jobs. Lynnsie and Harper assembled Personal Hygiene Kits, Ruby assembled school kits, Tim scraped and drilled holes into bleacher wood so it can be used to make school desks, and Caleb loaded a semi truck load of mattresses that were going to be shipped off later in the day!
That evening, we joined the students at Scheels in Springfield for dinner and a ride on the indoor Ferris wheel. Later, when we got back to the lodge, we had a time of worship, and Harper and Caleb shared a testimony.
The next morning, Lynnsie sang a song, then we worked a half day at Midwest before leaving the group early and heading down to Beulah.
JULY 21-23, 2025 | ShoutCo! Shows at Assisted Living Facilities
At the beginning of this week, we had a few free days around Troy, so we decided to do a few ShoutCo! shows around the area at retirement communities. It was a hit! We ended up doing five different shows in the span of three days. Thank you to the activity directors for having us and the families who provided meals for us during the week. Special thanks to Molly Hepp for jumping in one afternoon on puppets and Annie Kennett for helping us on Tuesday!
JULY 20, 2025 | Worship Night at Worden Methodist, IL
Thank you to Worden Methodist for inviting us to come for a night of worship! The hospitality of the church is amazing, and we appreciate your continued support of Harvest. Also, it was great to see Dylan Moore, who came to run sound for us.
JULY 18-20, 2025 | Epworth Fledgling Camp, Greenville, IL
The weekend at Epworth Fledgling Camp was awesome! It was great to meet the children at camp! We led worship, played games, and even helped out with the Snack Shack. The ShoutCo! Puppets did two different shows during the weekend, too! Big thanks to Lenny and Sandra Summar for having us again and Gabe Gryzmala for jumping in on tech the whole week.
JULY 14-18, 2025 | Epworth Jr./Sr. Camp, Greenville, IL
What an awesome week at Epworth Camp! All of us participated in the camp in a variety of ways. We led worship twice a day for both worship services, along with fun music and games during the pre-lunch assembly.
Lynnsie and Tim each led a class for middle schoolers. During this time, Caleb, Harper, Gabe, and Ruby helped Amy Harris conduct Cabin Inspections. It was a lot of fun, and we loved being a part of all of it!
All of us also served as cabin sponsors/Jr sponsors! Hanging out with the students in the cabins was awesome, plus, each evening we had devotions with them! Thankful for the ways we got to connect with these students.
We are also thankful for the ways God moved during camp! Each evening during worship, students flooded the altar. Their friends and leaders pray over them and with them! It was amazing to see this type of Christian Community in action. Many students and adult leaders were baptized/remembered their baptism over the course of the week. Praise the Lord!

JULY 12, 2025 | VBS, Rockbridge Methodist, Rockbridge, IL
It was a blessing to be at the Rockbridge VBS again this year! The theme was SHINE (Matthew 5:16). We led worship, played games, and led Bible Buzz. It was great to connect with the students during snack and lunch!
The ShoutCo! Puppets joined us during entertainment time in the afternoon. Caleb made up a new game during rec: a relay race mixed with giant Connect Four. It was a hit with the older group, and they had a lot of fun competing between guys and girls.

JULY 9, 2025 | ShoutCo! at Assisted Living
On Wednesday, while we were in the Quincy area, we did a puppet show at two different assisted living communities. We sang some oldies, gospels, and some staples, including “The Laughing Song.” After the show, we sang our 2025 Harvest Summer Happy Birthday song and a few other a cappella songs. It was great to meet the residents and share God’s love and light in the unique way of puppets.
JULY 8, 2025 | Worship at Illinois VA Home Chapel, Quincy, IL
On Tuesday, during our week in the Quincy area, we led worship for the Illinois VA Home’s weekly chapel service! There were many people who came in person, plus the individuals who listened from their rooms. Thank you to Dave Hall for inviting us to come!
JULY 7-10, 2025 | VBS, Camp Point UMC, Camp Point, IL
The week of Camp Point VBS was awesome! It was a Monday-Thursday evening event, and the theme was SHINE!
We began each evening with a delicious dinner provided by the church for all of the children who attended VBS and some of their families. Then, we headed upstairs for worship. After this, the children broke into their three groups and rotated between Rec, Bible Buzz, and Crafts. Harvest had a great time leading rec and Bible study. We then closed the evening with worship, a wrap-up on the day, and an update on who was winning the Backpack supplies donation total (boys vs. girls).
Thank you to the hospitality of Camp Point UMC, Pastor Sheri, Donna, and Jordan and Laura Tenhouse! We’re thankful for the opportunities we have each year we are there and are looking forward to next year.
JUNE 27-28, 2025 | Beulah: The Beginning Camp, Eldorado, IL
Great two days at Beginning Camp! We led worship three times over the weekend, plus an optional game time and evening devotion!
The game time was so much fun! We started out with some games on the parachute, but then so many campers came that we had to transition to a few other games! We ended with a favorite, Mouse Trap!
We decided we wanted to do the evening devotion on the Fruits of the Spirit. We sang “Fruit Fruit Fruity” then moved into a fun skit that the kids really leaned into!
We love Beginning Camp and are grateful we were there!
JUNE 23-26, 2025 | Beulah Bible Camp, Eldorado, IL
What an awesome week at Beulah Bible Camp! We led worship twice a day, along with a fun before-lunch assembly with games, dances, and more!
On Monday afternoon, we led music and game time with the students while the sponsors were in a meeting. During this time, one of the campers asked for a time of response and an altar call, so we changed direction and joined together in a slower song. The campers flooded the altar!
So grateful the week of camp began in this way!
On Tuesday afternoon, we hosted an elective called “Hang out with Harvest.” It was a lot of fun to get to know some of the campers, share about ourselves, and play some games.
On Wednesday afternoon, we joined the camp at the community pool for the afternoon. Although we didn’t swim, it was fun to sit around the pool, hang out, and talk.
JUNE 22, 2025 | Worship at Urbana First UMC, Urbana, IL
Great morning of worship at Urbana First UMC! We were so glad to be there again. Thanks, Pastor Freeman, for having us!
JUNE 21, 2025 | Hope Fest, Wood River, IL
Tim and Ruby led a few minutes of worship during Hope Fest, hosted by the First Assembly of God church in Wood River, IL! They had a lot of awesome activities during the event, including food trucks, a foam machine, and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle giveaway! We were so glad to be there! Over the course of the evening, there were 19 salvations and 18 baptisms! Praise the Lord!
JUNE 21, 2025 | Community Concert, Greenfield, IL
A slightly warm, but beautiful afternoon of worship at the Community Concert in the park in Greenfield, IL! We were the first of three bands to lead worship, and we were so glad to be a part of it! Special thanks to Justin Aymer for jumping in on electric and Kristie Ornellas for inviting us!
JUNE 21, 2025 | Charity Baptist VBS, Greenfield, IL
First SHINE VBS of the summer was amazing! We learned about ways that we can SHINE God’s light! We worshipped, played with the parachute outside, did awesome crafts, studied the Bible in Bible Buzz, and had entertainment by the ShoutCO! Puppets. Thankful for the hospitality of Charity Southern Baptist Church in Greenfield, IL! The team was Dylan Moore, Erin VanMiddendorp, Rex Repp, Caroline Stewart, Ruby Price, Caleb Hasebe, and Tim Price.
JUNE 10-13, 2025 | GMC GLC, Spring Arbor, MI
We spent the past week at Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, MI, for the Great Lakes Annual Conference! We helped lead the youth track of the conference as well as lead worship for the main sessions. During the youth time, we played games, led worship and small groups, and hung out with the students throughout the week.
Ruby had the opportunity to lead a few songs at the start of the day before the business meetings began. Tim led two youth seminars, and during these, Harper led the students in worship. As a whole, and along with others, we led worship for the whole conference! God moved through each part of it!
We also got to ride around in golf carts a bit, stay in the dorms on campus, eat in the dining hall, go on a campus tour, and participate in other things like outdoor communion.
On the way to Spring Arbor, we stopped to see the big things in Casey, IL, because Harper and Deb Ellis (who rode up there with us) had not been there before. It was a quick but fun stop! Then, we ate an amazing packed lunch by Deb before arriving on campus!
On the way home, we met up with some of the people from Marion Aldersgate on the Interstate and decided to follow them to Denny’s, where they were having dinner. We joined them for a bit before heading home.
JUNE 7, 2025 | Worship for Fishes and Loaves, West Frankfort, IL
Awesome day at the Fishes and Loaves Worship Marathon hosted by West Frankfort Trinity! There were 10 worship bands that played from 12 pm-12 am, and we were honored to be a part of the afternoon! Thanks to the team members who jumped in for the afternoon: Clint Benesh, Daniel Holbrook, Macy and Suzanne Price, along with some of the 2025 Summer team, Harper Smedshammer, and Tim and Ruby Price. Thank you to Pastor Danny Motta and the church for inviting us!
JUNE 5, 2025 | HARVEST AT THE PARK, TROY, IL
Our first event for Harvest Summer 2025! The Harvest at the Park Outdoor Worship Concert was great! Thank you to everyone who came and joined us; the weather was great, and the rain held off! We are grateful for the opportunity to begin our 30th summer of ministry in this way, worshipping with you all! The team was Tim Price, Ruby Price, Harper Smedshammer, Dylan Moore, Macy Price, Ryan Froidcoeur, and Dan Yarger. Big thanks to Suzanne Price and Caroline Stewart for helping with the resource table and hospitality, and to the Repp family for providing a picnic at the park!

We had a blast at Taylorville UMC for the closing celebration for Kids Club. We were grateful for the opportunity to play games, lead worship, and hang out with the kids. The ShoutCo!
