Worship LeadingI love standing before a group and helping them, using an informal, Wesleyan style of worship, connect with God. Either by myself or with the full Harvest Band, I have been leading worship for gongregations, special events, and local church ministries since the age of 17. |
SpeakingI enjoy the opportunity to share scripture and truth using stories. Being available about 26 Sunday mornings a year allows me to fulfill invitations to share on Sunday morning, weekends and special events. Over the years, I have been privileged to speak for youth gatherings, local churches, retreats, leadership events and conferences. |
Concerts / Special Events During a concert for local churches, I utilize songs that I have written over the years. Through stories and music, I invite the congregation to hear about God’s love on many different levels. Since 1990, I have been available to come to churches and lead in music. I have had the privilege of providing music for revivals, leadership events, ministry events, and places were a full band may not be necessary, but vocals and acoustic guitar fit well. |
Consulting / Training / SeminarsI love helping church ministry teams move to the next level. I have experienced first hand the ministry of hundreds of churches and can tailor the training / discussion toward the specific need in your ministry team or congregation. Gaining experience as a preacher's kid, a church staff person, and a resource person, I enjoy sharing and leading sessions for worship leaders, children’s ministry leaders and youth ministry teams. In addition, I have also spent time with local church praise bands helping them to start from scratch or move to a new level.Though I don’t have a packaged presentation for local churches, I have many topics from which to choose including:

Bio / Publicity Tim Price began in music ministry during his senior year of high school. In 1990, the summer after graduating, Tim spent his summer singing at several camps. The first camp director to contact him had actually seen him in a high school musical. For the next four years, Tim attended McKendree College in Lebanon, Illinois and sang on the weekends and during the summers. During that time, the ministry grew, but Tim considered it something he would do while in college. In the fall of 1994, Tim moved to Wilmore, Kentucky to attend school at Asbury Seminary. The ministry continued while he was working toward a Master's of Divinity at Asbury. It was 1996 when Tim began, with the help of many others, the Harvest Ministry Team as a way to train students for ministry. In his last years of seminary, the dream of continuing in worship and training ministry began to seem like a reality. Tim received his degree from Asbury and then moved back to Troy, Illinois and began to work part-time at Troy United Methodist Church. The ministry role at this church allowed him to also serve as the director of Harvest Ministry Teams. This congregation also opened their doors to teams coming in and out during the year. Tim continues to serve part-time on the staff at Troy UMC, while directing the work of Harvest Teams. Tim and his wife Suzanne and daughter Ruby live near Troy, Illinois.

Harvest Ministry Teams Harvest Ministry is a 501C (3) ministry and is an approved Advance Special through the Illinois Great Rivers Conference (#6340). Harvest Conferences and Harvest Summer Teams are two aspects of Harvest Ministry Teams.
