The Well – For Local Church Next Gen Ministry Leaders
May 4 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Dear Youth Workers and Children’s Workers –
I’m so grateful for your ministry with the next generation. I’m thankful for the gifts you bring and the time you invest in this kingdom work.
I have always believed that getting together for short times of equipping and encouraging can make a huge difference in our ministries. If nothing else, it’s a great opportunity to invite a couple folks from your leadership to take a short trip and talk about ministry in your specific context.
You’re invited to join me at The Well this spring, a seminar for youth workers and children’s ministry leaders on Saturday morning, May 4, 2019.
I hope to see you!
The Well has been in existence since 2005 as a way to help equip and encourage those who work with the next generation in local churches. For the spring of 2019, we are hosting the event at Centenary UMC in Effingham, IL. Register Today!
Dr. Hal Hamilton from Tulsa, OK will be here to share with the group.
Hal is a 33 year veteran of local church youth and college ministry. Along the way, he has done a little writing, coached high school basketball and taught youth ministry classes at Oklahoma Wesleyan. He had led over 60 short term mission trips. He recently transitioned to a new role and now he serves as the Director of Mobilization for Cornerstone, International.
Hal has been married to Annamarie for 32.5 years and he has five children under the age of 30 and two grandchildren. They live in Sand Springs, OK where they can watch the sun set over the Arkansas River every night.
Hal has his BA from Asbury University, his MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary and a DMin in Youth, Family and Culture from Fuller Seminary. He is a certified Sticky Faith trainer and a UMC deacon. His ministry is mentioned in the book Growing Young and in Deep Ministry in a Shallow World, both of which were produced by Fuller Youth Institute.
